Information and Guidelines
Car Show Entry and Judging Rule: if you have entered a vehicle in the car show, the only rule is you do not judge that category.
Judging Times:
Official times are 7:00am to 11:00am
Our typical time for judging is after 9:00am (starting between 9 and 10 normally) as most cars have arrived and checked in by that time. The last check-in time is 10:00am, no new entries after that!
Judging Guidelines and Helps:
- Check in with us at the Chamber booth, at Phelan Road and Clovis Road. The booth should also have the Car Show registration signs up.
- Water: water will be available for you at the Chamber booth throughout the day. Stay hydrated!
- Get your T-shirt (we have some set aside for judges already)
- Category /Class assignment - we will assign you a category to judge. We're also available to answer questions or give any help!
- Entries must display their entry form on the windshield or an otherwise obvious and visible spot. When recording your choices, please note the entry ID (CS#-26-XX) and the year/make/model so we can make sure we have the right ones.
- Photos help! Not only to remind yourself of your choices, but we're always looking for more photos of the Phun Day festivites.
We are also trying a Google Form you can use during the day to record your votes. It's not required, but feel free to try it and give any feedback.
NOTE: Any votes done before Saturday morning will be removed. Go ahead and test it out, we'll clean it up before the official start of judging.

IMPORTANT: If you are judging more than 1 Category, click where it says 'Fill Out a New Response' to enter new responses. Editing your first category overwrites the original category.
Any car entries the day of Phun Days will be added to the list, in their category/class. We should have all entries updated by a little after 10am when registration closes.
Enter your name (note: email address is not recorded)
Select your vote for Best in Show (best vehicle overall, from any category) and for Best Engine Compartment (which is the cleanest, nicest, best organized and/or best looking? Also from any category)
Next, select the Category you are judging and click Next
Select your choices for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in that category. They are listed in order of the show entry ID with the year/make/model to help.
Click 'Submit'!
You can Edit your entries, just be sure to click Submit on the Category page to save any changes.
Each Category (Class) has only one winner, but if we have a 1st place in a category that we also decide is Best in Show (or President's/Mayor's Choice) we will take the 2nd choice as the Cateogry winner, and that's why we select backups.
Final Voting:
When: 12:00pm to 1:30pm
Where: Excelsior school, 4022 Phelan Rd, Phelan, CA 92371 (near Phelan Rd. and Clovis Rd.)
Food: Pizza Factory
We will meet this year at the new Excelsior school (4022 Phelan Rd, Phelan, CA 92371) at 12:00pm to gather our final votes, make any adjustments needed, and enoy some pizza and soda!
Awards:
When: 3:30pm
Where: Stage at Phelan Road and Clovis Road
The award ceremony starts at 3:30pm at the stage (Phelan and Clovis roads)
